Refund Policy

1. Services Covered
This policy applies to all services offered by the Company, including:
•    Online fitness coaching and virtual sessions
•    In-person Zumba classes
•    On-site / personal training services
•    Drop-in sessions
•    Packages and bundles
•    Memberships and subscriptions
 
2. General Refund Policy (California Disclosure)
All purchases are final unless otherwise stated in this policy.
Because our services involve reserved time, instructor availability, and digital delivery, refunds are limited and clearly disclosed prior to purchase, in compliance with California consumer protection laws.
Participation in services remains subject to the assumption of risk and liability waiver set forth in our Terms of Service, regardless of refund eligibility.
 
3. 24-Hour Cancellation Requirement (All Services)
You may cancel or reschedule a booked session at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time to receive:
•    A full refund, or
•    A credit toward a future session
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session start time are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This applies equally to:
•    Online coaching sessions
•    Virtual classes
•    In-person Zumba classes
•    On-site personal training
 
4. No-Shows
Failure to attend a scheduled session without proper notice (“no-show”) results in:
•    Loss of the session
•    No refund or credit
No-shows are treated as completed services for billing purposes.
 
5. Drop-In Sessions
Drop-in purchases:
•    Are refundable only if canceled at least 24 hours in advance
•    Are forfeited if canceled late or missed
Once a drop-in session has occurred, it is considered fully rendered and non-refundable.
 
6. Packages & Bundles
If you purchase a package or bundle of sessions:
•    All package sales are non-refundable
•    Sessions must be used within the disclosed timeframe
•    Late cancellations and no-shows count as used sessions
•    Packages are non-transferable
Unused sessions have no cash value.
 
7. Memberships & Subscriptions
(California Automatic Renewal Law Compliance)
Memberships and subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
You may cancel future renewals at any time:
•    Through your Wix account, or
•    By emailing joyfulunicornfitness@gmail.com


Important disclosures:
•    Cancellation stops future charges only
•    No refunds are issued for past billing periods or partially used months
•    Benefits remain active until the end of the current billing cycle
These terms are disclosed at checkout in accordance with California law.
 
8. Online Coaching & Digital Content
For online coaching programs or digital services:
•    Refunds are available only if cancellation occurs 24 hours before the first scheduled session or program start date
•    Once content is accessed, delivered, or a session has occurred, no refunds will be issued
The liability waiver remains fully applicable regardless of refund status.
 
9. Company Cancellations
If the Company cancels a session due to instructor illness, emergencies, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive:
•    A full refund, or
•    A credit toward a future session
This is your sole and exclusive remedy.
 
10. California Cooling-Off Rights (If Applicable)
Certain California laws provide a limited 3-day cancellation right for qualifying in-person health studio contracts.
This right does not automatically apply to:
•    Online coaching
•    Drop-in sessions
•    Single appointments
•    Services already rendered
If a legally required cooling-off period applies to your purchase, it will be honored as required by law.
 
11. Chargebacks & Disputes
Clients agree to contact the Company before initiating a chargeback.
Chargebacks submitted in violation of this policy or after services have been rendered may result in:
•    Suspension of booking privileges
•    Termination of memberships
•    Recovery of fees permitted by law
 
12. How to Cancel or Request a Refund (Wix-Aligned)
All cancellations must be made:
•    Through your Wix Bookings account, or
•    By emailing joyfulunicornfitness@gmail.com
Requests must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Wix Payments or its connected processors and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
 
13. Relationship to Liability Waiver
Refund eligibility does not affect:
•    The assumption of risk
•    The release of liability
•    The California Civil Code §1542 waiver
These provisions remain enforceable whether or not a refund is issued.
 
14. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes:
•    Will be posted on this page
•    Apply only to future purchases
