Hey there! I'm Coach JT, the heart and spark of Joyful Unicorn Fitness, your very own unicorn pep coach! With my background in clinical research, I infuse science with joyful movement to empower fabulous women 40+ to feel strong, confident, and absolutely magical in their bodies! As a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Certified Nutrition Coach, I'm diving deeper with advanced NASM specializations in Weight Loss and Behavior Change. I'm also leveling up with menopause-focused coaching from Girls Gone Strong and Dr. Stacy Sims, making sure every session celebrates your physiology and experiences. I create personalized workouts tailored just for you, using evidence-based training, functional movement, and lots of uplifting encouragement! When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me rocking Zumba Gold and Groove Movement Dance, bringing, rhythm, and energy to virtual and in-person classes! FUN FACTS

I'm an avid adventurer with a passion for outdoor sports, from zip lining in the lush landscapes of  Maui to mastering equestrian disciplines like western riding and dressage. As a PADI advanced scuba diver, I've explored the depths of the ocean, and my love for hiking and rock climbing has taken me up some challenging mountains. I ran a marathon for charity and caught the running bug! I have run numerous half marathons as well. I've truly put my body to test, and I’m excited to share my experiences and insights with you!
